Maintenance Technician

One of my clients located in SW Wisconsin is confidentially seeking a Maintenance Tech for their food production facility! This small, family-owned company is committed to providing the highest quality products and safe and supportive working environments! They truly invest in their employees, and with less than a 3% employee turnover rate they are clearly doing something right!

Their maintenance department is expanding, and they are looking for a mechanically inclined technician who has 2-5 years experience in industrial maintenance! Food manufacturing is preferred, but not required! Must have experience maintaining highly automated equipment/stainless steel(welding), and the ability to analyze mechanical problems and get them repaired quickly. There is an incredible growth opportunity for this individual within the company!

Essential
Responsibilities:


  • Ability to install, repair, and otherwise maintain equipment relative to the total manufacturing process
  • Work includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding operations associated with installation and repair of equipment such as but not limited to vertical baggers, pumps, and conveyers
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Welding experience
  • Rebuild machine and overhaul components and attachments which involves dismantling, inspection, repair or replacement of parts
  • Preventative maintenance checks on various equipment to ensure safe operating condition
  • Use of forklift, scissor lift, and JLG lift required
  • Perform other related duties as required

Minimum
Qualifications:


  • Two-year technical degree in Electrical / Mechanical repair and maintenance related work experience required. Five years or more of related maintenance experience will be considered equivalent
  • Skilled in reading micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other types of calipers
  • Skilled at operations such as fitting / alignment of bearings, spindles, and shafts, aligning and calibration of measuring devices and moving parts, adjusting, and feeding mechanisms
  • Ability to read and comprehend standard operating instructions or industrial blueprints in performance of job duties
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Manufacturing experience in a Food Manufacturing Facility is a plus but not required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
