The HR Generalist plays a key role in keeping our employees informed, engaged, and ultimately successful.
The role serves as a point of contact for employees with questions related to human resources and benefits including insurance, payroll, policies, retirement, and general wellbeing, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
This position will work with the Director of Corporate Development to administer these services and foster our company's RISK values of Respect, Integrity, Support and Knowledge.

As an HR professional, you will be instrumental in helping to manage the careers and total rewards of each employee.
What you will do Maintain and serve as the primary contact for ADP and HRIS, ensuring optimal functionality, accuracy, and utilization of the HR systems Facilitate accurate employee time reporting and support payroll activities Manage employee benefit programs, enrollments, and answering employee queries regarding benefits Process paperwork for new hires, status changes, and terminations Support the performance management process Organize, update, and maintain files, records, and other documents Administration of workers compensation claims, FMLA and other employee programs Assist with administration of pre-employment drug testing and background checks Assist with recruitment and orientation of new employees Collaborate and gather information to create company newsletters, safety and training materials and other communications Develop and/or update job descriptions and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events Assure absolute confidentiality as required and sensitive information is handled appropriately Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations Help maintain a culture of safety, performance, and accountability Assist with projects and perform other duties as assigned by Director of Corporate Development What you need to get the job done Degree in human resources management or related field or PHR, SHRM-CP certification Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources within a business with 75 or more employees Proficient in ADP software, MS Office suite and HR software systems (HRIS) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Broad based knowledge of human resources and the application of HR laws and regulations Detail oriented and self-directed Ability to effectively interface with employees, managers, and vendors Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Physical requirements Ability to remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time, regularly use hands and fingers while performing desk work and operating a computer Fluency in the English language with the ability to talk to and hear business associates Ability to drive self to and from company and other locations as needed (must have valid driver license) How we reward Competitive salary Bonus pay Low premium medical insurance Employer paid short term disability, ADD & life insurance Voluntary HSA or FSA and HRA plus additional life and disability insurance 401k plan with company match Paid holidays, personal, sick and vacation days Flexible work schedules Paid training and development We Work.
