The ideal candidate will have a passion for detail, accuracy and customer service and will be responsible for preparing bills and insurance statements for our patients.
We're looking for an individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
The Medical Biller is responsible for ensuring that patients' bills are reviewed and processed in a timely manner, so the right candidate will enjoy prioritizing tasks, following daily schedules, learning new systems and keeping up with changes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and the appropriate codes.
Perform first-line screening of medical insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and reasonable coding.
Efficiently and effectively track unpaid medical bills.
Coordinate with collection agency.
Create reports on unpaid claims.
Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
Greeting patients and meeting their needs at the front desk.
Managing patient flow to the three doctors.
