ABC Supply is North America's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products.ABC Supply is proud to be an employee-first companyIn fact, we have won the Gallup Great Workplace Award every year since its inception in 2007, and Glassdoor has named us one of the best places to work in the countryBe part of a company that recognizes your talents, rewards your efforts, and helps you reach your full potentialAt ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.The Merchandising Support Specialist supports all ABC Company divisions by creating and maintaining item numbers and descriptions upon requestWorks with a team of associates in communication with vendors and third-party providers to collect and fill data attributes required to set up item numbers in all ABC Supply divisions' point-of-sale systemsWill work under the direct supervision of the Manager of Item Data.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust have excellent time management skills, able to juggle multiple project/task deadlines.Research products online and in vendor catalogs.Make decisions regarding creating and categorizing new item numbers within ABC Hierarchies.Communicate with branches and vendors as needed for product information, product questions, and details.Cleansing and reorganizing existing data to improve visibility within the company's product hierarchies and Stibo taxonomy.Match data, marketing copy, keywords, and any attribute data provided by vendors or third-party providers to item numbers and product families utilizing spreadsheets and ABC's master data management system, Stibo.Support acquisitions by creating cross-references between current item numbers and the acquisition's item numbersCreating new items where no match exists.Review image mappings for accuracy and use on the web.The support team and cross-functional objectives as needed.Must be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Data entry experience and strong computer literacy.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.Ability to write business correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, vendor contacts, and third-party providers.Understanding of exterior building products and industry preferred.Education and/or ExperienceOne to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Success FactorsIn addition to the above knowledge, skills, and abilitiesThe successful candidate will be able to engage in a self-guided review of the manufacturer's websites, manuals, and documents and communicate with the field in order to become a subject matter expert and better understand how to represent the products ABC sells ensuring a great user experience with E-commerce and other digital initiatives.Benefits may include:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
