Essential Functions The Facility Services Technician is responsible for a wide range of commercial maintenance including non-technical maintenance and other unlicensed trades.
Some of the duties include:
Commercial framing, door installation, miscellaneous drywall repairs, interior and exterior painting and touchups, door hardware installation, filter maintenance, wood trim, and vinyl base.
Non-technical maintenance of plumbing and water supply systems, electrical facilities and systems, and heating and cooling units and system controls.
General maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks.
Demolition of interior/exterior build-out when necessary.
Qualifications The Facility Services Technician will have skilled trade experience in electric, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry totaling at least 10 years.
Ability to follow OSHA standards/requirements and local, state, and federal codes and ordinances pertinent to facilities.
The right candidate must have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
, be able to work at various heights and on ladders.
The candidate should be familiar with reading blueprints and specs and have knowledge of mechanical systems, building materials, and emergency maintenance.
