Responsible for the direct supervision of manufacturing and production operations.
Develop and implement production processes and documentation for two production plants.
Analyze and implement advanced manufacturing techniques to improve safety, quality and machinery maintenance.
Work with plant personnel to develop problem solving teams to improve productivity.
Direct the process of employee development and training through Blackhawk Technical college and our local High Schools.
Develop processes for new production introductions and training in the manufacturing environment.
Organize and lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
Basic requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Must have extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes in a leadership role.
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems is required.
Knowledge of safety measures, quality management and maintenance in the manufacturing industry is required.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data are required.
Strong decision making, problem solving and organizational skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work jointly across departments is required.
