The Civil Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Financial Analyst to join a Leidos focus program with $2.
9B total contract value that delivers IT solutions to our NASA customer.
This is a key position supporting the Operations and Supply Chain finance team and will report to the NASA NEST Business Manager.
You will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of inventory control & supply chain initiatives within the operation, while leveraging your financial expertise in the areas of financial performance and controls (planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting).
Primary
Responsibilities:
Ability to thoroughly review inventory balances for accuracy and compliance Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities for Supply Chain and Service Delivery Conduct monthly closing process MO variance analysis and clearing journal entry Slow moving and obsolete inventory reserve analysis and quarterly adjustments Identify, analyze, and reconcile inventory ledger variances Track and monitor depot inventory locations; provide reports to management Supporting any ad hoc requests by internal management Support the finance team with special projects geared to implement financial best practices, enhance internal controls, and optimize inventory/DOS.
Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels Provide inventory support and guidance to Warehouse, Supply Chain and Service Delivery to ensure proper charging and process compliance Regular communication with management team BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field with 4-8 years of experience related to Accounting, Finance, or Economics-related financial analysis (additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree) Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems / tools Prior experience should include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of cost and financial data Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Strong Excel/modeling skills including use of formulas, pivot tables, and Macros Excellent analytical skills, able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis Must possess communication skills with ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow, Costpoint, Cognos, Oracle Analytics and other Leidos financial systems Proficient with Microsoft PowerBI EDUCATION &
Experience:

Pay Range $66,300.
00 - $102,000.
00 - $137,700.
