Summary:
The Warehouse Trainee position is responsible for a variety of different warehouse duties.
He or she will be responsible for pulling materials from multiple warehouses to fulfill production requirements.
Job Duties:
Accurately and efficiently pull materials for transfer requests.
Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload orders.
Assist Inventory Control with performing cycle counts.
Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily.
Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Personal Characteristics:
Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment.
Must be punctual and self-motivated Must be able to work individually and with a team.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Forklift experience required.
Experience:
Computer literacy required; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including but not limited to:
wheat, soy, egg, milk, and tree nuts.
Must be able to work in open environments exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
